Getting Started
How do I start recording?
Open Lume and tap the "+" button at the bottom. You can choose manual input, photo recognition, or voice entry.
How do I edit or delete a record?
Swipe left on a transaction in the home list to see edit and delete options. Tap the record to open details for editing.
How do I change the language?
Go to Settings → Language and select your preferred language. Lume supports 11 languages.
How do I set up reminders?
Go to Settings → Reminders to set a daily bookkeeping reminder time and build your habit.
AI Features
How does AI photo entry work?
Tap "+" → select "Photo Entry", point at a receipt and take a photo. AI will automatically recognize amount, category, and more. Review and save.
What languages does voice entry support?
Voice entry currently supports Chinese and English. More languages are coming soon.
How many free AI uses per day?
Free plan includes 5 AI photo entries and 3 voice entries per day. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited.
Account & Subscription
How do I create an account?
Open Lume → Settings → tap "Sign In/Register". Supports phone, email registration, plus Google/WeChat quick login.
Can I use Lume without registering?
Yes. Lume works fully offline without registration. Register to unlock cloud sync and get a 7-day Pro free trial.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Lume Pro → Cancel. Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Lume Pro → Cancel.
Will I lose data after canceling?
No. All your data is retained after cancellation. Only Pro-exclusive features (unlimited AI, multi-ledger) will revert to free plan limits.
Data & Privacy
Where is my data stored?
By default, all data is stored locally on your device. With cloud sync enabled, data is encrypted and uploaded to iCloud / Google Drive.
How do I back up my data?
Go to Settings → Cloud Sync to enable auto-backup or tap "Backup Now". Supports iCloud and Google Drive.
How do I export data?
Go to Settings → Data Export to export as CSV format for viewing and analysis in Excel or other tools.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all cloud data. To remove local data, uninstall the app.
